Paris, Texas

Dallas is No Paris..

It was very cool though, the Skylink and the massive airport. I had never seen anything quite as big, modern, and well, Texas size.
the people are really nice, authentic, and chatty.
There are actual volunteers at Dallas Fort Worth, seniors who make the rounds looking for people with quizzical looks on their faces and pointing them the right way to go. And if they have time, free chit chat.

You can get a few cool things there:
George Bush postcards with no apparent sarcasm.
Barbequed ribs at 7:40am.
A free ride on the automated high speed train that runs a long long loop around the different terminals. Very space age.
A tan while you wait (Texas sun).

Even customs folk are much nicer than in any other airport anywhere on earth.

Texas.
