hola! I just ate some fab grapes, the sort that normally don´t hit supermarket shelves since they are destined to be sold in Dubai as table decor. But they arrive once a week at our house in big bags, direct from an uncle´s vineyard.
They are purple, big as a kittens head, and very good.
Queria felicitar a Fer por su defensa de tesis, alla en el ROU. Maxima distincion y el comentario de la mesa examinadora que su tesis estaba para doctorado (en economia). Muy bien!
Anyway, where was I ? Oh yes ,my computer is still in the shop. They say it is very banged up and they will have to reformat and try again etc. Not good. The article in yesterdays nytimes has pretty much convinced me of the need to go with the new Macbook, (apparently one never learns some lessons.. Macs are not for work, they are to look upon).
Yesterday was Carmen del Pilars birthday, Feliz cumpleaños Prima! I got there quite late, as everyone was leaving (yesterday was the family version, Samstag is for the version 2.0). So I accompanied her to her neighbours house, an emblematic apartment building with a round dining room, with curved windows, doors, and even an appropriate large painting with curved canvas and frame.
Then off to Pulpo, for the launch of Sagrada Familia, a new movie, by (I think) some of my sisters friends (Isabel, please confirm).
